Aviation in the family
My journey began in a family of a pilot and a flight attendant. My father flew the An-24, Il-62, Boeing 737, 757 and 777; my grandfather was an Il-18 navigator. My brother is also a Boeing 737 captain. I am married to Nastya, a flight attendant, so I am keeping the family tradition alive.
My aviation journey
Before the Hawker, I was a Boeing 737 captain at Nordwind and SCAT in Russia and Kazakhstan. Five years of study in Ulyanovsk felt long, but the diploma opened the door to aviation and eventually to the United States.
A new chapter
2022-2023 was a time of rebuilding for me. I had to let go of many ambitions and plans, in a sense taking myself apart and putting myself back together. In the end, everything worked out for the best.
What I want to develop at RSA
I care about the people and the community itself. In this country, having a circle of people with shared values matters a great deal. That is why Sergey's idea resonates with me. I wish RSA growth and formal recognition as an association!
