Manhattan, New York, NY

I was born and raised in Moscow and now live in Manhattan. My mother was a flight attendant at Aeroflot and often took me along on her work trips. That is how my love of travel and special interest in aviation began as a child.

My aviation journey

In 2013, I enrolled at the Ulyanovsk Institute of Civil Aviation. After graduating, I joined Aeroflot, where I flew the Airbus A320.

Moving to the United States

Winning the Green Card lottery in 2021 opened up the opportunity to move to the United States. The first year was the hardest: uncertainty, leaving a familiar home behind and rebuilding life almost from scratch. But I believed I would find my way, and gradually things began to fall into place.

From GlobalX to Delta

I had my Russian pilot license verified and earned my FAA ATP relatively quickly. My first U.S. flying job was at GlobalX. I then joined Breeze Airways and trained on the Airbus A220. A few months later, I received an offer from Delta Air Lines, where I now fly the Boeing 757/767.

Outside work

I enjoy cycling and running, sporting and cultural events, theater, concerts, good restaurants and spending time with loved ones. I try to lead an active, healthy life and travel a lot outside work, too.

How I can help

I would be happy to help others adjust to a new country and culture and share my experience of moving to and living in the United States. I welcome new connections and conversations about aviation, careers, life in New York and beyond.
